Hello, aBlocks lovers. Welcome to the aBlocks Text Stroke and Text Shadow documentation! In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to enhance your text with eye-catching strokes and shadow effects to make your content stand out.
Whether you’re going for a bold, outlined look or a softer shadowed touch, we’ve got you covered.
To start, select any Text Block for customization. In this example, I’ll show you how to apply these settings to a Text Block.
Let’s get started!
Text Shadow

First, create a new page or post and add a heading. To access the customization options, go to Block > General > Style, and select the Text Shadow option. Once clicked, a new menu will appear.
A new popup will appear. You can see Color, Blur Shadow, Horizontal Shadow, and Vertical shadow options here. Now I will show you the customization one by one.
Color
This option changes the color of the text shadow. You can check the aBlocks advanced color settings documentation for more details.
Blur Shadow
Blur Shadow Control how blurry or sharp the shadow looks. You can adjust this by dragging the slider or entering a specific value. 10 is the maximum number of the Blur Shadow.
Horizontal Shadow
You can change the horizontal position of your shadow here. Adjust the shadow’s horizontal position by dragging the slider or entering a number in the box.
Vertical shadow
Similarly, you can tweak the vertical position of the shadow with the slider or input box.
Here is all about the Text shadow customization.
Now, let’s move on to the Text Stroke section. Text Stroke adds an outline or border to your text.
Text Stroke
You’ll find the Text Stroke settings right under the Text Shadow options. Click on it, and a new menu with two options will appear: Stroke Color and Stroke Width.

Let’s discuss one by one.
Stroke color
This changes the color of the text outline. Click the color box, pick a color from the popup, and the outline will change instantly.
Now just select the color, and the stroke color will automatically change.
Stroke width
This controls how thick the text outline is. Adjust it by dragging the slider or entering a specific number. By default, stroke width is measured in pixels (px), but you can switch it to Percent (%), REM, or EM.
